In this day and age we are at a distinct advantage to become more personally involved in the lives of those

who minister on foreign soil, our missionaries.
In by-gone days we gave them a check and a prayer, and sent them on their way. Hopefully we received timely letters from them, which kept us together with them…sort of.

Today, we can be in instant contact electronically, and even more incredibly, we can be by their side in a matter of hours, rather than weeks, or months. As a result, we can be significantly more involved with them in their ministry. Actually, we can work right alongside of them, lightening their load, and strengthening their influence.

Thank God for the day of the short-term mission!
